Pathwise Systems, Inc. (operator of Censiva) · Last updated June 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pathwise Systems, Inc. (“Pathwise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of Censiva, collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Censiva platform, available at censiva.ai and app.censiva.ai (collectively, the “Service”). It applies to individuals who visit our website or use our application.
Censiva is a business-to-business software service for home health and hospice agencies. Most information processed through the Service is business data entered by our customers (the “Customer Content”), which is governed primarily by our Terms of Service and the agreement between us and the customer. This Privacy Policy focuses on personal information relating to the individual users of the Service and visitors to our website.
If you have questions about this Policy, contact us at kevin@censiva.ai.
1. Information We Collect
Account and user information. When you create or are provisioned an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, business/agency name, role, and login credentials.
Customer Content. Our customers (agencies) input business data into the Service, which may include referral records, referral source and contact details, visit and touchpoint logs, and related operational notes. This information is provided and controlled by the customer. We process it on the customer's behalf to provide the Service, as described in our agreement with the customer. We do not use Customer Content for our own purposes except as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Payment information. When a customer subscribes, payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not collect or store full payment card numbers ourselves; Stripe handles that information directly.
Technical and security information. To operate and secure the Service, we and our providers process limited technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, and authentication and security signals (including data processed by our bot-protection provider, Cloudflare).
Communications. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide.
2. Cookies and Tracking
We use only strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies required for the Service to function - specifically for authentication/session management and for security (bot protection at sign-in and login). We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics or behavioral tracking. Because these cookies are strictly necessary to provide the Service, they are required for the application to work.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Service;
- Authenticate users and manage accounts and access;
- Process subscriptions and payments;
- Send transactional and service-related communications (for example, account, approval, and billing notices);
- Provide product features, including AI-assisted features described in Section 5;
- Respond to inquiries and provide support;
- Detect, prevent, and address security incidents, fraud, and abuse; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers (subprocessors). We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. They process information on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Our current providers include:
- Supabase - database hosting and authentication
- Vercel - application hosting and delivery
- Stripe - payment processing
- Resend - transactional email delivery
- Cloudflare - security and bot protection
- Anthropic - AI processing for certain features (see Section 5)
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pathwise, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
5. AI-Assisted Features
Certain Service features (such as our AI intelligence briefing) use a third-party AI provider, Anthropic, to generate summaries and insights. When these features are used, relevant data is transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing and returned to the Service. We use Anthropic's API on terms that do not permit the use of submitted data to train Anthropic's models. AI-generated output may be incomplete or inaccurate and is not a substitute for professional judgment.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customer Content is retained and deleted in accordance with our agreement with the customer; upon termination, Customer Content is handled as described in our Terms of Service.
7. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls and tenant data isolation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of it, and to opt out of certain processing.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may exercise applicable rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at kevin@censiva.ai. If you are an individual user whose information was provided by an agency customer, we may direct your request to that customer, who controls that data.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for use by businesses and their authorized personnel. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
